Experience
Out of law school Bryce went to work for McGlinchey Stafford, one of the preeminent law firms in the South. He also practiced at Taggart Morton and the historical firm, Lemle & Kelleher. Bryce's work at these firms brought him into litigation throughout the Country, representing international companies to small businesses in court from parish courts to federal court. His primary focus was labor and employment litigation and consulting, as well as complex ERISA litigation.
After gaining tremendous experience at the "Big Firms" Bryce struck out on his own handling a well-balanced array of legal matters for individuals, nonprofits, large international corporations and small businesses throughout Louisiana. As a solo attorney, Bryce rapidly expanded his array of work, becoming heavily relied upon by his clients to provide guidance and resolve complex matters. Handling multi-million dollar ERISA litigation to frequently working civil matters before city, parish and state courts throughout Louisiana. Bryce's clients repeatedly rely on his good judgment and reasoning to guide them through difficult issues.
Bryce sat for the Louisiana Bar Exam and Texas Bar Exam in an 11 day period and passed both during those sittings allowing him to practice law in Louisiana and Texas. Bryce is is admitted to all Louisiana courts, all Federal Courts in Louisiana, all Texas courts, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Bryce is also commissioned as a Louisiana notary public.
Education
Bryce earned his Juris Doctor (law degree) from Loyola University graduating in the very top of his class with the designation of magna cum laude. He also received the Crowe Scholar award (similar to Order of the Coif). While attending Loyola, Bryce was honored with the Law Excellence Awards (highest grade) in the courses Labor Law and Advanced Criminal Law.
Bryce was very fortunate to attend the prestigious Lafayette College in Pennsylvania for his undergraduate work. In his junior year at Lafayette College Bryce was selected as one of the top scholars and designated a McKelvy Scholar. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and Law, earning the distinction of a thesis, honors and cum laude.
